Join us on a mental health journey for Heart on My Sleeve Week, an initiative by your Student Rights Collective at UQU and in partnership with Heart On My Sleeve!

25 - 28 March 2024

This week-long event is dedicated to breaking the stigma around mental health and empowering students through community, education, and support. We have a jam-packed program, featuring Take the Pledge stalls with lots of freebies on offer, and Masterclasses and intimate Circles on various mental health topics.

Visit our stalls and take the pledge to keep mental health conversations genuine.

Join us and the UQ Health Promotion team for an arts and crafts session, and leave not only with a renewed sense of purpose, but also with some fantastic freebies. Arrive early to snag some premium goodies, including t-shirts and hoodies (available while stocks last), as well as wristbands and temporary tattoos!

Join a HOMS Masterclass

Engage in a Masterclass with a qualified Heart on My Sleeve instructor to help you build your confidence and self-awareness of your own wellbeing and mental health.

Overcome barriers, gain clarity on finding help, and find your words with authenticity in this interactive session. Please note that registration is essential.

Join an intimate HOMS Circle

Join Circles for a small-group sharing session, facilitated by a qualified Heart on My Sleeve coach.

This is a safe environment for you to explore your feelings and share common experiences with your peers. Choose a topic that resonates with you. Please note that registration is essential.

Alternatively, you can ask your general practitioner (GP) to create a Mental Health Treatment Plan and refer you to a psychiatrist or psychologist.
