Organisation of Planning Students (UQ OOPS)

We are the official society for students studying town planning at UQ (BRTP and MURP) and those who are involved or interested in the field of urban and regional planning.

The Organisation of Planning Students (UQ OOPS) is a UQ Union affiliated society. We aim to provide our members with opportunities in industry, sporting and social fields. As a small society, we take pride in truly knowing our members and providing tailored events for them. OOPS regularly partners with other UQU societies, inter-uni societies and the UQ School of Earth & Environmental Sciences to provide cross disciplinary events. OOPS holds a number of annually reoccurring industry, sporting and social events. These are events that hold value in the community or within the student body itself, including: Employable Skills Night, Industry Night, pub crawls, trivia nights, TRL competitions and other sporting teams, and our End of Year Ball. For a further insight to OOPS events and goings on, please see our social media links.
