With five years’ experience teaching in the Master of Education program at Swinburne Online, I have taught English as a second language and mainstream classes, specialising in writing and research techniques, in the Middle East, South East Asia and South America. At three Brisbane universities I have taught academic preparation classes, with a strong emphasis on writing skills. I have produced one book and several articles and was contracted as a consultant proof reader for the Griffith University International Students’ Association.

I charge between $25 and $40 per 1000 words depending on the urgency and the language in your draft. For a larger work, such as a thesis, there may be a discount. Clients complete an agreement about the scope of the work according to the 2019 guidelines for editing research theses and receive a tax invoice.
