I have over 25 years’ experience as a professional academic proofreader in all disciplines especially medicine, the sciences, engineering, business, history and horticulture. My background includes university lecturing in various scientific and medical subjects after spending quite a number of years in pathology and medical research.

I usually work in MS Word (track changes and comments) or PDF to correct spelling, grammar, punctuation and expression, and to check overall consistency, document structure, formatting, and referencing (e.g., APA, Harvard, IEEE, MLA, Vancouver, etc.), if required.

My work includes undergraduate but mostly postgraduate Honours, Masters, MPhil and PhD theses as well as journal submissions and several books. My clients include local and overseas students as well as senior university staff.
