Cooking in the Microwave – Mug Brownie

This week is all about focusing on mental health and ways to cope with stress, and what better way to calm your stress levels than with a warm, decadent chocolate brownie, and the best part, you can make it in seconds!

Chocolate fixes everything right? That’s why we’re bringing you a chocolate brownie, straight out of your microwave to get rid of those exam study jitters. Indulge in a sweet treat that won’t take you away from the books for hours, but still fixes your sweet tooth cravings!

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup of flour

  • ½ cup of brown sugar

  • ½ cup of cocoa powder

  • ½ cup of oil

  • ½ cup of water

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence

  • Chocolate chips


Method:

  1. Mix together the flour, sugar and cocoa powder

  2. Add in the oil, water and vanilla essence and mix together

  3. Stir in the desired amount of chocolate chips

  4. Microwave for 1-2 minutes depending on your microwave and how cooked through you want your brownie
